If the photograph is too dark or too light, or the color is not great, the scan can be manipulated to some extent and improvements can be made. A negative will always contain more detail in the shadow and highlight areas than a photograph produced comparisons from it. Whenever possible, please provide the negative along with a photographic print that appears television less than perfect.
